Fixed term 9-month maternity leave contract, with the possibility for extension
Scottish Ensemble (SE), one of the UK’s leading ensembles, is widely recognised for its world-class performance standard, and an imaginative approach to artistic and creative learning projects.
We are looking to recruit a self-motivated, confident and enthusiastic individual to join our team as Planning & Creative Learning Officer.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience of working in an arts environment, preferably the performing arts, as well as a demonstrable passion for classical music. A driving license is also essential due to touring responsibilities.
The position would suit someone currently working in arts administration, with experience in either creative learning or project planning. Experience of stage or tour management would also be a distinct advantage.
Based at SE’s busy office in Glasgow, this full-time post has responsibility for coordinating SE’s annual programme of concerts, events, and creative learning activity, in conjunction with the Director of Artistic Planning.
