Sonica Festival

Scottish Ensemble joins Cryptic’s 2024 edition of Sonica, the biennial multivisual celebration of sonic art, for Echoes of the Burrell. In a new and exciting collaboration with Sonica led by visionary violist Jane Atkins, Scottish Ensemble will lead the audience on a carefully curated journey through the Burrell. Inspired by the beauty and intrigue of the Collection – both the architecture of the building and the exhibits stored within – the programme will traverse through ancient and contemporary melodies, introducing new and familiar sounds in unexpected spaces, travelling through history, time and space.
