Donate £22 today to enable more young people to experience live music

November 27, 2024

This Christmas help us to share Scottish Ensemble’s work with young people across Scotland.

Many children and young people face barriers to experiencing live music. Teachers and local music services pour all their efforts into helping their students in the classroom but buying tickets is becoming harder for schools and families to afford. For thousands of young people, this means there are fewer opportunities to hear live classical performances.

Young people involved in our Live Music and Mental Health project, with Children in Scotland and the University of Stirling, told us that one of the key barriers to engaging with live music was the cost of tickets. This project enabled us to understand the obstacles young audiences face when accessing Scottish Ensembles work – and we are determined, with your support, to do what we can to remove these barriers.

Scottish Ensemble offers free tickets to under 16’s, whether they attend with family members or through school or social groups. Your donation will help even more young people to experience the power of live music.
