Dates and details announced for our much-loved seasonal tour

After a year’s break (at least in live form), Concerts by Candlelight returns this year.

We’re bringing audiences a reflective, restorative and spiritually warming programme this year, curated and directed by guest Violinist, Matthew Truscott, renowned from his work with our friends the Dunedin Consort and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.

The programme Matthew has put together encompasses eras and styles ranging from the Baroque (Henry Purcell) via Beethoven and Brahms to music by contemporary composer Julia Wolfe.

We’re releasing first details now so you can earmark your diaries, but tickets aren’t yet on sale. We’re working out last details of seating and social distancing (all venues will either be entirely distanced or will include a distanced section), and will be putting the events on sale very soon. Capacities will be limited this year so make sure you’re on our mailing list (form at foot of this page) to ensure you hear as soon as tickets are on sale.

Concerts by Candlelight will this year tour to Aberdeen, Inverness, Perth, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow, and all concerts will start at 7.30pm and last 75 minutes with no interval.
