Nordic Nights December 2013 Tour

Concerts by Candlelight Here at the Scottish Ensemble we’re already dusting off the candelabra and thinking about our ‘Concerts by Candlelight’ tour in December 2013.  From 6-11 December, in Aberdeen, Inverness, Dundee, Perth, Glasgow, and Edinburgh we’re performing Nordic Nights in the atmospheric surroundings of churches and cathedrals across the country. Sinfonia Concertante begins Friday 17 February

Scottish Ensemble at Celtic Connections

We’ll be joining in the fun of Celtic Connections, Glasgow’s annual folk, roots and world music festival, this weekend with a performance of a brand new piece by Sally Beamish – Seavaigers, commissioned by Celtic Connections and Edinburgh International Harp Festival.
