Extra Musician Callout (Scottish Freelance Ensembles Network)
Scottish Freelance Ensembles Network is a collective of professional freelance ensembles – Scottish Ensemble, Red Note Ensemble, Dunedin Consort, and Hebrides Ensemble – based in Glasgow and Edinburgh. We have come together to develop a shared approach to recruitment that broadens access to opportunities within our ensembles. By working collectively, we hope to open up clearer pathways into freelance ensemble work and support a workforce that is more representative of the breadth of musical talent working today.
Through our Extra Musician Callout, we are seeking to widen our network of world-class performers, reflect and inspire our audiences, and champion Scottish culture, locally and internationally.
Participating ensembles in this recruitment cycle are:
- Scottish Ensemble
