Scottish Ensemble Administrator & Marketing Assistant
Full-time permanent position


Scottish Ensemble (SE) is one of the most innovative and distinctive classical music ensembles in Europe. From performances with classical singers and instrumentalists to those with visual artists, choreographers, puppeteers and folk musicians, we are committed to creating live experiences that engage a broad audience and make new artistic connections.

We are currently looking to recruit a highly-organised, creative and self-motivated individual to join our team as Administrator & Marketing Assistant.

Based at SE’s busy office in Glasgow, this is a key support role at the heart of SE’s ambitious team. The post has dual responsibilities for looking after the efficient day-to-day running of the office/administrative processes, and for supporting SE’s Marketing & Design Manager on a range of marketing/communications tasks.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate real passion for classical music and the performing arts in general. Previous experience of working in an arts organisation would be an advantage, but we will also consider applications from candidates from different sectors who have clear reasons for a move into the arts.

We are looking for someone with a great eye for detail and a methodical approach to completing tasks. Our priority is to find the best candidate for the role, and so we are willing to be flexible. We may consider condensed hours, part-time working or other structures.

A full UK driving licence is desirable; some on-the-road touring responsibilities are shared between SE’s small team.
