Scottish Ensemble 2012 - 2013
We’re very excited that we can finally tell you all about our fantastic new 2012-13 season! You can download a subscription booking here on the right hand side of the page.
During this season, we’ll be beginning the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Benjamin Britten, one of the most important composers of music for strings from Britain.
There will also be lots of new music from Scottish composer Martin Suckling, whose music we’ll be featuring thoughout the whole season.
Most excitingly, 2012-13 sees the beginning of our new residency projects where we’ll be getting out of the concert halls in Dundee, Inverness, Aberdeen and Perth and getting to know you and your communities a little better with free performances, coachings of amateur and young orchestras, performances of scores to silent films and a few suprises too. More details of the residencies will be announced soon, and you’ll be able to find the full programme for each city right here.
General sales open on Monday 2 July, but you can book your seats now by subscribing to our season in your city. Just click on the subscription leaflet for your local box office, print it out, complete your details and return to your box office.
